More efficient and greener
Model Obaly a.s., the leader of the Czech market in the production of packaging from solid and corrugated cardboard, is taking another step towards digitizing production and making it more sustainable.
It is the first company in the Czech Republic to install the top-of-the-line Landa S10 nanographic printing machine from the Israeli manufacturer of the same name. Thanks to its flexibility, the new digital technology will support just-in-time (JIT) production and, among other things, lead to a reduction in waste and excess inventory.
Everything under one roof
It is the significantly greater colour gamut and durability compared to offset or flexographic printing that are the most obvious advantages of the new technology. Paint, made up of particles with a maximum size of several tens of nanometers, is more resistant to damage and water after drying. Digital printing also offers much greater flexibility, making it possible to work with variable print data for the production of packaging for local consumer offers, for example.
The Landa S10 nanographic machine will thus further support the company's "everything under one roof" business model. Model Obaly's services include a comprehensive range of services including design, testing, manufacturing, printing, assembly, storage, delivery, and even subsequent pick-up and transport for recycling.
