Model Young Package 2022 Ceremony Invitation

For 26 years, designers from all over the world have been participating in the internationally recognized Model Young Package competition. This year the competition tackled a very attractive and current topic Food Is... The submitted model prototypes traveled from all over the world and the best ones will be presented and awarded on 17th October 2022, at the Center for Architecture and Urban Planning in Prague.

This year we asked designers from all over the world to create packaging prototypes based on the theme Food Is… We believe that food packaging worthy of the 21st century should elevate the food experience to a new level. How did the designers deal with this task and our strict evaluation criteria? What are the best model prototypes and which prototypes will receive special awards? All of this was evaluated by an international jury of prominent experts in the field headed by Jan Činčera, the leading packaging designer in the Czech Republic.

The international packaging design competition Model Young Package is for designers and students. The competition is organized by Czechdesign for the competition announcer, the Model Group company. Model Young Package is the largest competition in the world of its kind. It gives participants a unique opportunity to compare their designs with other designers’ works in this international competition. Young designers from all over the world compete for prize money in a total value of 7.300 EUR, 3-week paid internship at the Model Group Innovation Center and special prizes.
